Today’s hike will explore the wilderness around Mission Bay. We will depart at 8:30 and cover 7 to 10 miles and should be back to the cars by 12:00ish. We may due a loop around Vacation Isle or anyplace else along the route see what else is interesting. Tennis shoes are acceptable. One bottle of water is suggested although water will be available along the route. Don’t forget the sunscreen, lunch if you care to join us afterwards and whatever else you might want. From I-5 exit Clairemont Dr. to the West and we will meet in the North visitor’s center parking lot. After the exit ramps take the right turn and then an almost immediate left turn all the way round and go towards the bay as far as you can. We will depart the trailhead promptly at 8:30AM.
