We will cover about ten miles. Bring plenty of water, a snack and lunch as well as sunscreen. First we will go north on the PCT to Garnet Peak. We will then cross the road and walk along Pine Creek Rd., Noble Canyon Trail, Filaree Flats, and Big Laguna. Lunch will probably be in El Prado campground. Then we will re-cross the road, pass by Foster Lodge, and return to our cars via the PCT. Be prepared to see something you have never seen before.
DIRECTIONS: Meet at Penny Pines, mile marker 27.3 on Sunrise highway. Adventure Pass is required. Hike begins at 9:00 AM. Mission Valley carpool 7:45 if there is one. ,
