Bring lunch, 2-3 quarts of water, sun and rain protection, and lug-soled shoes. “First timers" must call the leader. All participants must be in top condition, well prepared for trail conditions and will be accepted at the leader’s discretion. Hikers must be able to keep pace with the group.
Mission Valley Carpool
Park on the street in front of the Methodist Church, 2111 Camino del Rio South (west of Texas St.). Be prepared to drive yourself if there are no other carpoolers.

Annual Earth Day Hike
We will celebrate the Earth Day at Chollas Creek, 47th St. Canyon, Swan Canyon, Hollywood Canyon, and Manzanita Canyon, Few from San Diego Canyonlands will join me and there are many flowers out now. we will point out difference between native and invasive non-native plants. We'll see the native plants restoration in progress. This is about 6-7 miles. Hike begin at 9:00 AM. Bring water and snack. Waiver will be signed from Walkabout International.
Directions: To get there, from 805, take Home Ave Exit going east to Fairmount Ave. Turn right on Fairmount Ave and go to second stoplight, then turn left on 47th Street. You just park on the street next to Leisurland Mobile Villa sign, where street makes a sharp right turn just across from Chollas Creek main entrance. No Mission Valley carpool.
